{"id":4,"date":"2011-03-08T05:01:48","date_gmt":"2011-03-08T05:01:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/existencia.org\/pro\/?p=4"},"modified":"2011-03-08T05:05:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-08T05:05:00","slug":"paraphrasing-code-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/existencia.org\/pro\/?p=4","title":{"rendered":"Paraphrasing Code Released!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve just finished extracting and releasing the various blocks of code<br \/>\nnecessary for automated paraphrasing (and some other things besides).<br \/>\nGet the code or dlls here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/jrising\/Virsona-ChatBot-Tools\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/github.com\/jrising\/Virsona-ChatBot-Tools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The README is currently very sparse, but it describe the code<br \/>\navailable (which includes tagging, parsing, morphology, paraphrasing,<br \/>\nwordnet access, the plugin framework, and general-use tools) and how<br \/>\nto begin using it. \u00c2\u00a0All of the code is LGPL.<\/p>\n<p>The paraphrasing code was undergoing development when I stopped<br \/>\nworking on it, so there&#8217;s a lot more that can be done. \u00c2\u00a0It currently<br \/>\njust knows how replace words with unambiguous synonyms, rearrange noun<br \/>\nand verb conjunctions, and rearrange declarative phrases a few ways<br \/>\n(e.g. active to passive). \u00c2\u00a0It can work on a complete body of text,<br \/>\nknows how to respect capitalization, and can try to emphasize<br \/>\nparticular phrases. \u00c2\u00a0And it&#8217;s quite fast, but often makes no changes<br \/>\nat all.<\/p>\n<p>In my tests, it seems to be working fine, but I did have to rearrange<br \/>\na fair amount of code and didn&#8217;t test if very thoroughly, so tell me<br \/>\nif there are any problems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve just finished extracting and releasing the various blocks of code necessary for automated paraphrasing (and some other things besides).
